Urban Animal Industry Seeks to Identify Emerging Leaders

Each year, four Emerging Leaders are identified by their peers and awarded a Summit Emerging Leader Scholarship. Summit sponsors contribute complete Delegate Packages to scholarship recipients, granting them access to a Summit program that will enhance their career and develop relationships. They also have the opportunity to develop a unique insight into collaboration between executive level leaders inCanada's Urban Animal Industry. 

Scholarships are valued at $2,000 which includes a full Summit Subscription, travel subsidy, access to Urban Animal Resources and peer recognition.

To be eligible for this nomination: 
  • Nominee may not be an existing Alumnus of the Urban Animal program
  • Nominee must be a permanent full-time employee in the Urban Animal Industry or be involved in graduate studies or have five years of work experience and a degree/certificate in a related discipline
  • Nominee must demonstrate leadership with a specific interest in Urban Animal Strategies
  • Nominee must be nominated by a current SUAS Alumnus in good standing
  • Scholarships must be used in the year they are awarded
