The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) has released an invitation to the urban animal industry to submit abstracts for its 2014 AVMA Animal Welfare Symposium.
Humane Endings: In Search of Best Practices for Euthanasia, Humane Slaughter and the Depopulation of Animals will be held Nov. 2-5, 2014, in suburban Chicago. While registration will not open until August, abstracts are being accepted now through July 15. More information can be found HERE.
The symposium will take a comprehensive look at existing best practices for euthanasia, humane slaughter and depopulation across animal species, while also exploring research and innovation in the name of continuous improvement.
