Paladin Labs (USA) has successfully requested that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration withdraw approval for Antizol-Vet (fomepizole, 4-methylpyrazole), an antidote for ethylene glycol poisoning in dogs. The approval withdrawal was announced on April 7th, 2015.
Paladin Labs requested the withdrawal as Antizol-Vet has not been produced or marketed since October 1st, 2014. The last lot of Antizol-Vet sold has an expiry date of August 2017.
