The Google publication map uses shading to show audience participation. Darker regions have a larger audience than lighter regions. At the end of September Google showed how the audience has grown to include much of Europe and Asia:
InfoStream began life in May of 2008. Four years went by before InfoStream achieved a monthly audience of 2,500. However, in the past three years the online publication has doubled and then doubled again to its current level.
Current InfoStream editor, Tessla Cummins, develops stories from an array of global news feeds. The publication also builds on the work of contributing editors to serve industry leaders with stories from research, business and urban municipalities. Original content from Infostream is also re-published in other publications and blogs.
An important role of InfoStream is to illuminate the activities of the Urban Animal Foundation. Many regular InfoStream readers are involved in the Alliance for Urban Animals and the International Summit for Urban Animal Strategies which takes place each October.
InfoStream uses a 'freemium' subscription model to gather industry leaders and deliver a more favorable information environment to the Urban Animal industry. InfoStream readers can cherry-pick information or subscribe to have articles sent to their email daily.
