COLLABORATE - The Agrifood Super cluster

The Agri-Food Super Cluster Collaboration Makes Large National Impact

According to Robert Saik, Founder/Head Coach AGRI-TREND the projected impact of the Agri-Food Super Cluster (SASC)on Gross Domestic Product (GDP), jobs and Green House Gas (GHG) reduction will look like this illustration. By collaborating, the agri-food industry expects to reduce national emissions by over 40 Megatonne (Mt).

The environmental objectives are important for the overall support of the project by government and industry as well as for accessing Federal Funding. One can imagine there will be important developments for Innovation, Science and the Economy driven directly or indirectly by this project.

Moreover, a recent InfoStream article highlighted issues related to raising funds for emerging technology and suggested a need for governments to supply capital to the Proof of Concept (POC) stage of innovation.

This illustration suggests the Agri-food Super Cluster is chasing environmental impact, GDP and jobs as the primary causative agents to bring them national funds.

QUESTIONS THAT NEED ANSWERS:
Among the questions still to be answered about national funding initiatives, are those related to the benefits accrued by consumers. In addition to ethics and safety issues, the primary drivers of the consumer experience (CX) in Agri-food are sensory perception, ease of access and cost. Governments are becoming sensitive to the consumer experience because of a new understanding about the consumer wallet and consumer perception. Social media has substantially changed outcomes and the election process. Ultimately, consumer experience and trust is paramount to sustaining power and governance for those who have this role.
