Puppy helps kids heal during medical treatment

On September 7 Ronald McDonald House, located next to Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary, introduced its newest boon to sick kids’ health: a four-month-old, cream-coloured Labradoodle puppy named Asha.

“She’s our new furry staff member. We call her our director of pawsitive relations,” says Kelly Knight, senior communications co-ordinator for Ronald McDonald House Southern Alberta.
