Veterinarians: Vital for animals, Vital for people

The Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE) released a pamphlet outlining the importance of veterinary practice for people as well as animals. Veterinarians: Vital for Animals, Vital for People sums up the role of veterinarians in human and animal health.

Primarily referring to rural domestic animals, the brochure demonstrates different areas in which humans benefit from the health of the animals that surround them including, boosting the economy, protecting the environment and preventing and dealing with the outbreak of disease.

The FVE is an umbrella organization of veterinary organizations from 38 European countries and represents four sections of the veterinary profession: Practitioners, Hygenists, Veterinary State Officers and Veterinarians in Education, Research and Industry.
