Can BEZOS Reinvent the News - Washington Post Buy will Tell the Tale

The Jeff Bezos approach to ecommerce and publishing has reinvented retail and changed these models forever. 

Amazon's single-minded dedication to giving consumers what they want - when they want it, has allowed them to eliminate the inefficiencies of the market by directly hooking demand to supply. 

Eliminating middle-men, developing dialogue and empowering people seems to be a useful tactic in any field of endeavor. Will it save the news industry? According to some observers, a shift in thinking is the only hope for the print media and in fact for journalism and democracy itself.
