The Calgary Humane Society welcomed Carrie Fritz as new Executive Director earlier this month.
Carrie has been a Certified General Accountant since 1996 and a member of the CHS team since 2007.
In her former role as CHS Controller, "Carrie demonstrated exemplary professionalism, an astute business sense, a knack for strategic thinking, a committed work ethic, excellent organization skills and a great attention to detail," said Deanna Steblyk, Chair of the CHS Board of Directors. "More importantly, she brings a true passion for the CHS mission to help as many animals as we can, a positive attitude and commitment to the well-being and success of her fellow staff."
Carrie assumes the position from acting Executive Director Joe Coffin, who accepted the interim role in December 2013.
