The Canadian Kennel Club and Purina PetCare Canada have donated $29, 283 CDN to the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides. The Lions Foundation raises and trains guide dogs for Canadians with visual, hearing, medical, or physical disabilities. Dogs are provided at no cost to the individuals.
Canadian Kennel Club Communication Manager Andrew Patton said, “CKC is thrilled to have been a part of this special event and is pleased to support the important work of the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides.”
