The first on-demand delivery service in the pet industry is now offered by Petco. Petco is now offering PetcoNow, a delivery service that can get purchased products delivered directly to the customer in a short period of time.
Delivery is now available in select markets in the United States and pet owners may purchase from Petco’s ~13,000 products. Delivery zones will be expanded in late June. Items may be purchased online or via a mobile app.
Petco Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer, Brad Weston said, "In today's on-demand retail economy, customers expect to have the world at their fingertips. PetcoNow represents an evolution in the way we're able to provide quality products and customer service to pet parents. Combining our 50-year heritage, expertise and retail footprint with strategic partnerships ensures we stay at the forefront of innovation in today's changing marketplace."
