Second Opportunity to Attend Petfood Innovation Workshop: Next Generation Treats

Due to the fact that the first workshop sold out, people are being offered a second opportunity to attend the Petfood Innovation Workshop: Next Generation Treats. Next Generation Treats will provide participants with valuable hands-on experience. Space is limited to 100 people and the event will take place on October 28-30 during Kansas State University’s “Pet Food Experience”. Registration in the workshop will also provide registrants access to the Pet Food Experience. Interested parties may register here.

The workshop is designed to promote research, innovation, and talent development. Attendees will be able to enjoy two days of research presentations and hands-on creation of pet treats. There will also be networking opportunities and facility tours. During the workshop in April 2015 attendees went to the Kansas State-Olathe Food Innovation Accelerator Lab and worked at six different stations making pet treats to take home.

Editor-in-Chief of Petfood Industry, Debbie Phillips Donaldson said, “The Petfood Forum team was looking for an opportunity to allow more people to participate in the Innovation Workshop that were previously excluded due to being sold out. Our new partnership with the Kansas State Pet Food Program gives us that chance, and also lets us improve it with even more hands-on concepts, plus add new content by showcasing the research activities, facilities and students from the university.”
