Lisa Chen Brings National Fact Evidence Base

The companion animal industry is renowned for passionate leaders.  Adding the facts and evidence base that helps passionate leaders create healthier communities for pets and people is a goal of the 2012 Regional Summits.

Dr. Lisa Chen will discuss existing survey data and help thought leaders to identify the facts and evidence that must still be collected.  She intends to reference data from recent YourSAY surveys that collected public opinion in the following areas:
The most recent survey 'Abandonment and Surrender' will also be published in time for the Summits.

A very important element of Dr Chen's sessions will be a discussion of the facts and evidence associated with the sources of dogs and cats moving into Canadian communities.  This study will occupy the Market Services and Intelligence unit of PetLynx during the late summer and fall.

Finally, Dr. Chen will bring initial ideas from her activities to understand the proactive consumer and the developing online marketplace in our communities.
