Summit - Lifetime Achievement


The companion animal industry is chock full of individuals who invest themselves to promote a more responsible and collaborative industry. Thought leaders and industry stakeholders have gained momentum from their insights, their vision and their achievements. To recognize their accomplishments, the ISUAS nomination committee selects one individual for its Lifetime Achievement award.
Presented by the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), this award honours the outstanding accomplishments of an individual who has retired from active involvement in the companion animal industry. The individual demonstrates exceptional effort to improving industry collaboration and promoting responsible pet families.  

In 2011, that individual was Dr. Lynn Webster, MB. Dappling in an variety of associations and sectors of the industry, Webster has a comprehensive understanding of animal pathology, industry best practices and pet health insurance. 

Webster also has a distinguished past with the ISUAS, being one of the original industry allies who met in the fall of 2005 and founded the Summits. 




Evidence of merit must include: 

  • A description of a lifetime of achievement and the recognition of industry peers. 
Support of merit may include: 
  • Exemplary community and industry collaboration.
  • Commitment to creating responsible pet communities. 
  • Peer recognition and awards. 
  • Media report, published program summaries, publications, web content, etc.
