Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter, D'Arcy's Arc, Manitoba Mutts and the Winnipeg Humane Society each have a different focus but are connected by a common goal - giving animals a stronger voice to influence animal welfare issues and city by-laws.
The group, Shelter and Rescue Alliance of Manitoba (SARAM), wants to take on issues such as Fluffy's Law to allow pets in apartment blocks and cart licensing.
