Hosted by Petsecure, about a dozen teams competed in the dog-themed event at The Forks in Winnipeg Thursday, 20 December 2012. The Winnipeg Humane Society won the judge's hearts with their Snoopy house and will receive a $1,000 donation from Petsecure.
"It's sad to think of any pet without a home during the holiday season, and the only thing that makes it better is knowing what an excellent job the animal welfare organizations in our province do," said Bill Skubovius, vice president, Business Development at Petsecure. "We are happy to use our doghouse decorating contest as a way to give a boost to one lucky organization that's providing a loving, temporary home for someone's future pet."
