North American Veterinary Conference celebrates 25th anniversary

One of the largest meetings of exotics and companion animal practitioners in the world, the North American Veterinary Conference is just days away.

The annual five day event welcomes almost 16,000 attendees from more than 70 countries and offers more than 50 hands-on laboratories including anesthetic complications, urinalysis, bandaging in dogs, behavior in cats and small-animal emergency techniques. The conference presents about 375 nationally renowned speakers and features more than 1,400 hours of continuing education. Sessions range from alternative medicine to wound management and everything in between making this groundbreaking conference a 'must attend' for industry professionals.

As the first veterinary conference of the calendar year, the NAVC is also where the most current medical and product advances are first released. More than 4,000 exhibitors attended NAVC 2012.

This year's conference will take place 19-23 January, 2013 in Orlando, Florida. To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the NAVC has scheduled a diverse lineup of speakers and entertainment.

In addition, the NAVC has formed an agreement with UK-based online content supplier Vetstream to bring its valuable content from the Conference and the NAVC Institute to veterinarians around the world after the events for the first time.
