PIJAC Canada is dedicated to professionalizing the companion animal industry. Its Certified Companion Animal Specialist Program (CCASP) is designed to educate industry professionals and train people who work with pets on a regular basis. Its annual scholarship program is designed to assist promising future industry professionals further their post-secondary studies.
Scholarships are available to PIJAC Canada members, their staff and family members. Since the introduction of this program, eight scholarships have been awarded to applicants in the fields of animal nutrition, animal health, science, veterinary medicine, psychology, education and medicine.
The competition process will be open until 25 April 2013.
