- Peter Foley, Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) is nominated for the development of the Cat Action Team which altered the lives of more than 8,500 cats on Prince Edward Island in a collaboration featuring volunteers and the Sir James Dunn Animal Welfare Centre of AVC.
- Tammy Hornak, Grand River Veterinary Hospital is nominated for the development and delivery of an annual Pet Wellness Day to the First Nationals Community of Six Nations which provides medical services to more than 500 dogs each Spring.
- Holly Wiseman, Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society is nominated for the development and delivery of a Humane Education program featuring annual visits with educators and canine companions that have elevated the level of care and attention for animals in the region.
- Kent Lattanzio, London Animal Care Centre is nominated for activities as the Director of Operations at the London Animal Care Centre and for his notable contributions to a host of associations, task forces and working groups across North America.
- Kelly Mullally, Prince Edward Island Humane Society (PEIHS) is nominated for creating a more collaborative environment which fostered new relationships, legislation, community involvement and board governance for PEIHS.
The Summit for Distinguished Service Provider recognizes a service provider in the Urban Animal Industry that is distinguished by the level of achievement and impact on the lives of people and pets within a community.
