Pets Plus Us announces 2014 Champion Award Winners

Earlier this year, Pets Plus Us launched its Champion Awards campaign to recognize members of the community who champion pets, whether by volunteering, rescuing, sheltering, supporting or caring for urban animals. 

After thorough review of the top five Champion Awards finalists in each category, the Pets Plus Us judging panel selected the 2014 Champion Awards winners, October 24. 

Veterinary Staff Award: Randi Young

Veterinary Clinic Award: Pacific Cat Clinic

Community Outreach Award: Dr. Tammy Hornak

Shelter & Rescue Award: Max’s Dog Sanctuary

Volunteer Award: Emma Haslam

Pet Owner Award: Laura Watling

Bestie Award: Shelley Cunningham
