Animal Supply Company announced last week it has acquired Summit Pet Products Distributors. Summit Pet will continue to operate under the Summit Pet name and be led by its current management team. This partnership further enables Animal Supply Company to offer its customers and vendors an unmatched level of service, breadth of products and geographic reach with operation consistency across the platform. The combined business covers 30 states, represents over 300 pet product manufacturers and delivers to more than 5,000 pet retail stores.
Summit Pet is the third acquisition in as many months by Animal Supply Company, which acquired Zeus & Co. West in December and Lone Star Pet Supply in November.
