New award recognizes Excellence in Animal Welfare

The Ontario SPCA is introducing a new award to celebrate 140 years of promoting animal welfare. The Excellence in Animal Welfare Award recognizes an individual who has shown exceptional commitment to improving the welfare of animals in our society. 

Nominees for the Excellence in Animal Welfare Award must be current full or part-time employees of the OSPCA or affiliate communities. The winner of this highly esteemed award will receive a glass trophy and $1,000 towards continuing education and/or professional development in the animal welfare field.
