Canada's 23rd Prime Minister, the Right Honorable Justin Trudeau and his Cabinet were sworn in two weeks ago. As they started their new jobs, each new minister received a letter from the Prime Minister outlining the mandate and promises they are to keep with Canadians. The Mandate Letters are published for the world to see on the Prime Ministers web page.
Ministers are responsible to for the various departments of the Government of Canada and sit on the Privy Council which is the highest elected position in Canada.
The great experiment in open and transparent government is underway.
