Brand's in today's digital age are constantly trying new ways to reach consumers through Social Media. However, to have people “liking” your brand on Facebook, tweeting about you, pinning your content, and sharing your product on Instagram is shown to be the new measure of marketing success.
According to the BrandIndex 2012 U.S. rankings, Subway has been the top brand for the past three years in generating "top buzz", followed by Cheerios in second and Amazon.com in third.
Brands were rated using YouGov BrandIndex’s Buzz score which asked respondents: "If you've heard anything about the brand in the last two weeks, through advertising, news or word of mouth, was it positive or negative?"
