The 2012 Summit Gala, co-sponsored by the IAMS brand of Procter and Gamble, will feature award winning Olympic clips from P&G activities to support the mothers of Olympians. The Olympic movement rewards individual achievements with medals and peerage within each sport. To have qualified in a sport and to be an Olympian is recognized around the world. The Summit Awards are determined by industry peers using criteria vetted by the Summit Alumni. The top four nominations in each category are determined by the Summit Nominating committee and presented to the Summit Alumni who vote by secret ballot to select the winner of each Summit Award. The Alumni learn who has won the Award when the envelope is opened and the Nominee is called to the stage at the Awards Gala. The entire process is conducted transparently online.
Tom Trifaux, Director Western Canada for Canadian Management Centre, President of HeadStart Marketing and Grey Cup alumnus, is the director of the 2012 Summit Awards Gala.
