Dr. Jennifer Willans, on behalf of the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association Council, announced today that Dr. Duane Landals will officially retire from the position of Registrar on 10 February 2013.
Dr. Landals has lead the ABVMA for the past 13 years and also been involved in many other aspects of veterinary medicine on behalf of his colleagues in Alberta, Canada and around the world. Dr. Landals has been invited by the council to remain on staff in an advisory position during the next eight months. Dr. Darrell Dalton will take up the responsibilities as Interim Registrar.
