Joe Coffin accepts Acting Exec. Director of CHS position

The Calgary Humane Society is committed to building a strong, effective and engaged management team and their appointment of Joe Coffin to the positing of Acting Executive Director/General Manager of Operations, proves this dedication. 

Joe has been with the CHS for eight years and has a passion for the well-being of animals and the success of the Society. It is this passion which has earned him the trust and respect of his colleagues. 

"Joe has been able to provide our team at CHS with the stability and direction it needs while the organization is undergoing change," says Christy Thompson, general manager of Community Relations. "Joe has the ability to lead by example and give the CHS team the confidence to move forward, even during times of evolution. Former CHS Executive Director, Mark Takhar, has returned to the British Columbia SPCA to assume the role of Chief Operations Officer.
