What's your story?

Canada 150 and The Canadian Foundation for Animal-Assisted Support Services (CFAS) are partnering to gather stories, photos and illustrations illuminating the positive difference the human-animal bond has made on the lives of Canadians.

Canada's largest history gathering project, Canada 150, is a website allowing people to contribute their own personal family and community stories as a gift to Canada on its 150th anniversary, July 1, 2017. Stories and photos will be open to the public, searchable, retrievable and saved forever.

You can share your stories in two of the following ways:
  1. If you have already written, published a book, CD, or DVD and want it archived for generations to come click  here to get started.
  2. To contribute your stories, photos, and illustrations for archiving click here
Be sure to include the words 'human-animal bond' in your stories so that your story can easily be found on the searchable database.
