- 2013 - Ontario SPCA for the development of the High Volume Spay/Neuter program which has lowered the admission of cats to area shelters.
- 2014 - Bonnie Isenberg, Ft. Saint John Animal Control for taking the care and control sector to a new level of animal welfare. Officer of safety and community education.
The Urban Animal program’s mission is to illuminate successful strategies for urban animals and to provide recognition for those who lead and innovate. The Summit Awards are an essential element of delivering on this mission. The Summits are presented annually using an academy style system of nominations followed by an open polling process.
