Vice President, Operations
We are pleased to advise that Nicholas F. Gnida has accepted the interim position of Vice President, Operations.
Nick has been one of our long time supporters and shareholders, as well as Treasurer and Director, at PetLynx Corporation. This position initially is a 0.4 HRU/FTE. Nick will assume the following responsibilities:
• Back up for the President
• Management of Operations and Operations staff
• Management of client relationships
• Execution of business plan
• Member of the Executive Scrum
Nick will also continue his responsibilities as Treasurer of the Corporation.
We have all enjoyed Nick and the boundless enthusiasm and encouraging presence he brings to the Calgary Office.

We are pleased to advise that Mike Dover has accepted the interim position of Manager, Market Services & Intelligence.
This position initially is a 0.4 HRU/FTE. Mike will assume the following responsibilities:
• Back up for the President
• Management of the Summits and Survey programs
• Execution of business plan
• Member of the Executive Scrum
Mike is managing partner of Socialstruct Advisory Group. He is the co-author of Wikibrands: Reinventing your Company in a Customer-Driven Marketplace. Mike is a highly-connected research executive with more than a decade's experience leading nGenera Insight, a world-class think tank. He was responsible for operations, content quality, and client management for $9 million, multi-year research studies on the intersections among technology, business strategy and society, including the groundbreaking Talent 2.0 Research Program. Mike led more than 200 professionals over the course of the programs. The research in these programs formed the basis for the best-selling books Wikinomics: Mass Collaboration Changes Everything and Grown Up Digital: How the Net Generation is Changing your World.
Mike is an experienced public speaker and panelist who has delivered dozens of highly-rated speeches about the role of technology, generations in the workplace, and popular culture.

NOTICE - National Urban Animal Report for 2010
Executives in the companion animal industry concerned about the impact of the internet and the other matters impacting their business are invited to attend an OpenSpace on this matter at the Regional Summits for Urban Animal Strategies, 13 - 19 April 2011 in Toronto, Halifax, Red Deer and Vancouver.
Background:
The proliferation of the internet is having a remarkable effect on the companion animal industry. In 2006 and 2010 Mike Dover contributed to the understanding of the new internet paradigms through his involvement on the "Wikinomics" and "Macro Wikinomics" team. In 2011 he launched his own book "WikiBrands" to investigate the impact of the internet and social media on branding.
OpenSpace:
Retailers, Humane Societies, Veterinarians, Breeders, Licensing Agencies, Internet and other Service providers are invited to attend one of four Summits and to participate in a facilitated discussion of wikibrand principals. Mike Dover, author of "WikiBrands", principal of Socialstruct Advisory Group is delivering the National Urban Animal Report for 2010 and will speak to the issues of online brand development and maintenance.
Other Summit Conversations:
Patricia Cameron, Executive Director, Calgary Humane Society, will be leading a conversation that looks at the four waves of the humane movement. Joe Mauro, CEO of the Canadian Kennel Club will be leading a conversation on voluntary compliance and best practices for breeders. Louis McCann, Chair, National Companion Animal Coalition, will be leading a conversation on the new National Codes of Conduct governing all aspects of the companion animal industry.
