Pet Valu Converts Jack’s Pets Locations

The Canadian company, Pet Valu purchased Jack’s Pets. 12 Jack’s locations in Cincinnati will be converted to Pet Valu stores. Pet Valu will continue to expand throughout the Midwestern United States.

Jack’s locations are being remodeled and will be offering new products. Jack’s President and Vice President of Midwest Operations for Pet Valu, Scott Brenner said, “The Jack’s team is very excited to join the Pet Valu family. We are pleased to be part of a group committed to our customers.”

Zoetis Expands Manufacturing Capabilities

Zoetis Inc. has finished a 19,000 square-foot expansion at its manufacturing facility in Lincoln, Nebraska. Zoetis and its predecessors have been located in Lincoln since the early 1900’s. The Lincoln location employs approximately 500 people and up to 30 new positions will accompany the expansion. The plant currently produces BOVI-SHIELD GOLD®, RESPISURE ONE® , RIMADYL®, and SYNOVEX®.

Site Leader in Lincoln, Betty Mason said, “Zoetis is excited to expand its footprint in Lincoln and provide veterinarians, livestock producers, pet owners and the animals in their care with a reliable, consistent supply of quality animal health products. The entire community can be proud of our expanded manufacturing operations, which enable us to produce 1,200 finished goods for more than 100 markets around the world.”
