PetLynx Corporation Launches Search for Partner

PetLynx Corporation has selected CrunchBase.com to launch the public search for a partner.

"As we move into the next chapter of our emergence, a partner that adds strong operating and financial management to the world class marketing, program development and disruptive business model already owned by PetLynx will secure a strong future for our shareholders", said Larry R. Evans, Managing Director, PetLynx Corporation.

According to Evans, the focused acceleration provided by national partnerships with Canada's largest logistics company CDMV and Associated Veterinary Clinics Canada's largest provider of animal health services will support PetLynx subscriber growth in the Canadian market.

The next chapter of PetLynx development involves an investment of 12 million $CAN and five years to deliver:
  1. PetLynx 2.0, a simple mobile interface with more services that PetLynx subscribers own and manage;
  2. A North American market penetration of 7% (8 million subscribers); and,
  3. A privacy compliant monetization strategy to serve the largest pool of active residual subscribers in this market.
"Investors understand the subscriber model and the value of subscriber companies like Verizon and Netflix", said Thomas R. Trifaux, Chair, Board of Directors, PetLynx Corporation. "Early involvement in digital communications allowed Evans to understand how human/animal relationships in urban municipalities could be improved with PetLynx subscriber services. Achieving 10% of the Canadian market proved up the PetLynx model. The value of the PetLynx subscriber pool will grow as they use PetLynx online services to manage their human/animal experience", said Trifaux.

Information about PetLynx and the search for a partner is updated regularly in the PetLynx CrunchBase. Interested parties can "follow" PetLynx to receive automatic updates.

PetLynx commits $30 Million to Urban Animals in Canada

PRESS RELEASE

PetLynx is moving forward with its mission to identify
every pet in Canada.

Calgary, AB - PetLynx Corporation created the first automated Return to Owner system in 2006 and reached critical mass by registering the millionth animal in 2014.

In keeping with the  mission to identify and register every pet in Canada, Thomas R. Trifaux, Board Chair, PetLynx Corporation, announced a plan to save Canadian pet owners $30,000,000 during the INNOVATION Keynote address at Summit 2014. The response was overwhelming: The Alliance for Urban Animals selected ‘identifying every pet in Canada’ as the 2015 industry wide initiative; and, Members of the Alliance committed to register one million pets through their programs and initiatives by the next Summit for Urban Animal Strategies in October, 2015.

“With two million registered users by next fall, the industry neutral PetLynx registry will protect pets, serve pet families and improve economic opportunity across the entire Urban Animal community,” said Trifaux. “The PetLynx commitment to identify every pet in Canada within this decade is a ‘moonshot’ statement like the one made by President Kennedy in 1961 to put a man on the moon.”

PetLynx serves pet owners as well as Alliance members who operate shelters, kennels, retail stores, clinics, hospitals, licensing agencies. Alliance members serve more than 340 Canadian communities. Members can reserve a portion of the $30,000,000 in products and services for their clients prior to January, 2015.

“The response we have received from dozens of industry leaders has been overwhelming,” said Drew Van Niekerk, President/CEO, PetLynx Corporation. “The industry is ready to adopt one central utility that provides an easy, secure and low cost way to protect pets and provide peace of mind for people.”

A PetLynx animal record empowers pet owners and authorized service providers to generate lost/found reports, access health records, record identification, upload pictures and much, much more. PetLynx is the only registry that allows pet owners to store information about their companion and opt-in to services they need. Every month, the PetLynx utility receives more than 33,000 logins, serves more than 2,000 recovery episodes and hosts more than 1.2 million visits.

Trifaux Breaks Sound Barrier in CF-18 Hornet

Tom Trifaux, 2011 keynote speaker for the International Summit for Urban Animal Strategies and Director, Canada West, for Canadian Management Centre, recently addressed the annual gathering of Canada's 409 Tactical Fighter Squadron in Cold Lake.

Before Tom could bring his message of Abundant Living to the squadron  he was required to take a 'ride' in Canada's front line tactical fighter, the CF18 Hornet.  When asked about the experience, Tom said, "the ride was about power, performance and control.  I have never experienced such amazing power, I have never witnessed such inspiring performance in equipment or people, and I've never felt such responsibly for control  - making sure I didn't upchuck."

Tom is one of few civilians who can boast of breaking the sound barrier.  "Flying faster than the speed of sound was not what I imagined," said Tom.  "Everything is happening behind you, so in the cockpit everything is pretty calm.  When we slowed down we experienced a bit of chop but the biggest thing I was aware of was my breathing and the pressure changing in my flight suit.  When I briefly took over the controls I found it wasn't as easy to maintain controlled flight as it looked when the man up front was in charge"

Now, in addition to professional athlete, speaker extraordinaire and family man, Tom can add 'fighter pilot' to his resume.  Now that is abundant living!
